A livelihood expert and Spanish speaker, Susie previously worked for DFID and has an interdisciplinary focus on rural development, poverty reduction and monitoring and evaluation. Her technical background is social and economic analysis of change. She has over 15 years experience of working in international development for a variety of organisations – NGOs (including Oxfam America), research institutes, government ministries, the private sector and multilaterals. She has carried out various knowledge management consultancies including analysing mechanisms for learning, and writing for different audiences. She has worked in various countries including Mexico, Ecuador, Nepal, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. Susie brings a wealth of experience in rural development and livelihoods, monitoring and evaluation, poverty and socio- economic analysis. She is a skilled facilitator and is able to develop communication materials for different audiences.
